West Lodge Park Hotel

West Lodge Park Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel set in 35 acres of grounds on the edge of North London. It has been owned and run by three generations of the Beale family since 1945 and now has 59 bedrooms, the Mary Beale Restaurant and Terrace Bar, eight stunning banqueting rooms, and plentiful free parking.

The hotel sits in the magnificent Beale Arboretum, with over 800 species of trees from around the world, two national collections of hornbeams and swamp cypresses, and plentiful paths for those looking to explore.

The landscaped Beale Arboretum and historic 16th century lodge offer the perfect setting for weddings, celebrations, relaxing stays, business retreats and award-winning dining near London.

For guests interested in art, the hotel boasts the Edward Beale collection of old master paintings dating back to the time of Charles II. Most of these pieces were painted by family ancestor, Mary Beale – Britain’s first professional female artist.

The Bell Hotel

Situated in the heart of coastal Suffolk, our Grade II listed hotel, bar and restaurant is steeped in history. We’ve even entertained royalty, with King George II resting his head here in 1737. Today, when you stay in one of our unique, coastal heritage themed rooms, you can expect a royal welcome of your own from our guest services team.

We’re ideally situated for exploring Suffolk’s beautiful maritime heartland, with resorts like Aldeburgh and Southwold nearby. You’ll also find Framlingham Castle, many historic market towns and countless beauty spots within easy reach when you make The Bell Hotel Saxmundham your luxury base for an unforgettable Suffolk coastal visit.

The Bell Hotel Saxmundham has a rich past filled with local folklore and national history. In Georgian times it was the hub of the local community, and a place for travellers – and sometimes kings – to park their coaches and rest their weary heads. Now, having restored the hotel to its full glory, we invite a new generation of travellers, sightseers, and lovers of local food and drink into our warm and welcoming interior.
